Diecast Japanese vans!

I have always liked vans. Currently own a 95 Toyota Previa LE SC and 14 Toyota Sienna SE

So naturally, I would want to get diecast vans. Unfortunately, Matchbox and Hot Wheels haven't really made many vans.

Hot Wheels did release a Honda Odyssey and the RR Honda Odyssey based of the Bisimoto 1000hp van.

It wasn't until 2016, when I was in Japan, I picked up a few vans.

I decided I need to get some of the older vans, so my brother Noguchi-san helped me find some and sent them to me!

...in 1999.... my start

The first time I got a model was in 1999. At the time, I owned a 1995 Honda civic hatchback DX. When I started to talk to Mege-san about the car scene, I saw that Tamiya had an red civic hatchback! He got me that model and sent it to me.  This was my first attempt with a model and I tried to replicate it to me like my actual car (sans the intercooler). DR30 Skyline HT Intercooler RS-X Turbo

This model was painted white before I got it. I wanted to put it together, but I didn't realize this model has the engine...and I gotta paint that correctly. So I've been holding off. With the others that were bundled into this group, I didn't think this would have everything, but it did and I was very happy. It has the body kit and rims as well. Models with engines demand a bit more detail.
