Fujimi R31 Skylines

This was the other box that contained an extra chassis. Again, short a set of rims and tires for one. The white one is also missing the add on body kit. But from what I seen, all the interior and suspension is there. Hopefully I'll get it all together this week and get them done.

Drifting action scenes with Naruto

I also collected some Naruto figurines and they were the perfect scale for 1/24. My friend Kenny did a "Drifting on my table" set up, so I copied it as well.

I still have all my models, most of them are in Washington state at my parent's place... and yes, I gotta go through all of them too!!! When I moved to the Bay area, I only bought a handful shortly after. But as I explained in my first blog, I stopped. These are in my storage and have been beaten up when moving.. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Here is a video of them in storage. ...in 1999.... my start

The first time I got a model was in 1999. At the time, I owned a 1995 Honda civic hatchback DX. When I started to talk to Mege-san about the car scene, I saw that Tamiya had an red civic hatchback! He got me that model and sent it to me.  This was my first attempt with a model and I tried to replicate it to me like my actual car (sans the intercooler). I would go through waves of interests, then back off throughout the years.  The height of my interests and getting models completed was in 2004. I had visited Japan 4 times and each time, I would bring back a few models. When I was in Japan, scale models could be found in many places and of course, it was Tamiya, Fujimi and Aoshima that was my aim. The price was usually $15 to $20.
